More changes

Ok, I made some more changes:

- FIXED THE MENU. (it should no longer screw up your firing)

- There are 2 difficulty settings now. (Normal and Hard)

- The red thing that appeared when you stood still now has a button that can be used to turn it on and off permanently.

- Made the red thing look better. (3 instead of 4 points that now move in and out as well as round in circles)

- I also changed the way weapons are equipped from your inventory.

drone also got a review at:

Not the most positive review, but all feedback helps :D

Thankyou Mark13673!

Got a feature!

drone got featured on Pixel Prospector – an awesome site about freeware games in development.

I’m also going to be doing something about the player drone being more obvious on the screen either by changing the colour of it or by adding some kind of button to make the cross permanent.

I also changed the website around a bit to make it look less shit.

It’s also on http://www.freewarehub.net/ and http://gamejolt.com/freeware/games/shooter/drone-part-1/1686/

Music

Alex has sent me some music, its great. Makes the game much less shit. It’s been added to the game along with:

  • improvements to the walls.
  • made the darkness less intense.
  • made it so if you delete the .ini file the game doesn’t die.
  • changed the menu texture.
  • changed the menu opacity. (90% ->%75)
  • changed the menu color so it is always white now.
  • changed the teleport sound

First Entry

This website is slowly coming together. I’ve deliberately kept it simple as possible so even the most untechnically minded people can navigate it without getting lost. I also didn’t want the website to overwhelm it’s content if you know what I mean. I doubt I’m going to update this very frequently as I don’t have much to say. Although, in the coming months, I’ll try to get this page filled with as many posts as possible to make it look more complete.

The free “beta” version of drone has been released and you will find it on the GAMES page which you can navigate to from the list at the top of this page.
