Well, Drone got a review on Rock Paper Shotgun.
In case you don’t know, RPS is one of the two big indie games websites on the internet, the other being www.indiegames.com.
This is good, VERY good.
To put it in perspective, I had as many downloads in a single day after the RPS feature than I had in the previous 7 weeks. (~2k)
I sent them this rather absurd e-mail about a month ago but never heard back. I’d assumed that they either didn’t see the e-mail, or just thought drone was a piece of shit, so I didn’t bother following it up. But it turns out a guy by the name of Quintin actually played it and had the decency to write a review for it.
So Quintin, you’re awesome.

forward them this blog post, you might get another mention.
Just loved your game. Found it by chance. Lost too much time on it.
Complimenti!
So I restarted my computer to boot on windows and have a little Assasins Creed II session. When I got to my games folder, I saw your game, I downloaded it some other day before but could not test it ’cause I was on linux. Man, when I started playing it I just could not stop!!! Awesome game, congratulations!
BTW you should try something multiplatform like http://love2d.org/, you may like it and it has the benefit of being playable on both windows, mac and linux (and perhaps other platforms in the future)
Thanks for playing it, I’ve been looking at few other SDK’s, but I really can’t be fucked re-writing the whole thing again.
If I make another game in the future, I think I’ll have a crack at Unity. Apparently Unity 3 will run with mac, windows, iphone, wiiware, xbla, and psn… although I’ll believe it when I see it.
